Where do you live/ Where did you grow up? I currently live on my family’s farm in Walnut Cove, North Carolina. Which is also where I grew up. (Yes, I have lived other places😉, I actually just moved back 2 years ago.
Favorite Food? Toss up between sushi and chicken wings! Favorite quote? “Sometimes it takes an overwhelming breakdown to have an undeniable breakthrough." College/Major: Southern New Hampshire University. Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration on non-profit management. Family? I am a single mom to a beautiful 8 year old daughter Olivia, a golden doodle Lucy, a shitzu Charlie, and two cats Grace and Nola. Special Talents/Hobbies/Free Time activities? I am super creative and love to build and create things. I also have a knack for interior design. Hobbies: I love to workout, my health and fitness are an important part of my life. I also enjoy traveling and concerts with my love. Why Protect 1 Family? I like being my own boss and in control of my own success. All while having the ability to be signification on levels unimaginable before. Most recent position before Protect 1 Family? I was a bartender/ manager at an Italian Restaurant. Future goals? Business Goals: To be a triple threat (Sell, Train, and Recruit at a high level). To become a Regional Director in 2023. Double my team size. Develop at least 2 other key leaders and help them develop their business and team. Personally: To get married and build/buy our PERFECT home for our blended family. What motivates you? To be better than I was yesterday and to show my daughter that ANYTHING is possible. If you BELIEVE it you can ACHIEVE it, with the right mindset, vision, plan, and follow through. Advice to new people interviewing: Success doesn’t come without change and discomfort. Get comfortable being uncomfortable. KNOW YOUR WHY, and let fear motivate you, not paralyze you. What does true leadership mean to you? Leadership is a relationship. It is also a commitment to lead by example, whether that is professionally, personally, or spiritually. It is also an unwavering commitment to pour into others, serve others, and add value anywhere you can. How do you define success? Living up to the person God created me to be and not letting any of my gifts be wasted or weaknesses stop me. It is also defined by the LEGACY I Ieave behind when my personal journey is over. What is your personal philosophy? Always aim to find the balance between a healthy mind, healthy body, and being spiritually aligned. I have found it is rare to achieve a perfect balance with all (life happens), but being aware of the balance and what areas many require more of your attention at any moment is key.
