How long have you been with FHL?
I wanted a career that had 3 things: residual income(being compensated in perpetuity for doing something once), leveraged income (we only have so many hours in a day), and ownership (the harder I work, the more of the company I get to own in stock). When I was introduced to FHL (once I got over thinking "I'm too good to sell insurance"), I realized this was IT. And it's SO MUCH MORE than "selling insurance". It's building a BUSINESS which is truly amazing!
How did you hear about FHL?
I good friend introduced me to Peter Ferre who was in the initial stages of building his business "Legacy Financial Services". I really believed he was someone I could be mentored by and learn from. Peter truly molded me and my ability to lead people and grow a successful business.
Most recent position before FHL?

Develop 7 more Agency Owners (who are each running a business of at least $1.5MM) to bring the total to 10. I want to leave a legacy!
What motivates you?
Developing people who have no clue how to run a business into capable, profitable and duplicatable business owners.
Advice to new people interviewing...
Create a list of the most important things to you in a career then weigh that against what FHL has to offer. Get advice from people who have been successful in the industry, not from failures. Also only take advice from people who are financially where you WANT to be, not from people who are just as broke.
What does true leadership mean to you?
Leadership is about making others BETTER as a result of your persistence and making sure that impact lasts in your absence.
How do you define success?
Success is the implementation of patience, persistence and perspiration to arrive at a predetermined desired destination in life.
What is your personal philosophy?
Work hard, work smart, play hard, play smart and treat others the way you want to be treated.
